The last two years of high school are generally spent preparing for college and enjoying the last hurrahs of senior year, but what if it were the first two years of high school, grades nine and ten where this took place, instead of grades 11 and 12?

On a scale from one to ten this craft is a solid three in terms of difficulty. Meaning if you have a preschooler like I do, he or she will have very little difficulty making these homemade trees.

Frugal Living Week in Review: August 25th Through August 31st
Food and back to school are the two things on my mind this week.
Isn’t it crazy the way babies grow so quickly? It seems that you just get used to one stage and boom they are already into another. Tonight, were busy getting the household all set for my eldest child’s first day of second grade. My two younger ones are excited and want to start school, too.
We are just hours away from the start of the Labor Day holiday weekend–the official end of the summer season. For many families the weekend marks the last chance to escape city life before the new school year begins.
To succeed in homeschooling, it is in your best interest to get involved with other homeschoolers. You should join a homeschool network or group near you. For this reason, I have decided to give a full listing of homeschooling groups throughout each state.
A study from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York looked at children with milk allergies.
One hundred children with milk allergies participated in the study.
As hard to believe as it is, this coming weekend the East High Angels Class of 1988, of which I belong, will get together to celebrate our 20th high school reunion. Because our Alaska trip is right around the corner and doing both would really stretch our funds, I won’t be attending however.
It is summer. We are out of town at an event for my daughter. That does not mean that learning has to end. It just means that learning cannot be very structured. For us, this is a lesson in unschooling. It is alot like and extended field trip.
