There are about 100 different types of Deer. Deer live in all parts of the World except for Australia and Antarctica.

Deer are the only animals that have antlers. Usually the males are the only types of deer that have antlers with the exception of the Caribou. Female Caribou have antlers as well. Antlers are not the same thing as horns on animals. Antlers will shed once a year and will grow back again, however, if an animal loses their horns they will never grown back again.

Print off this Deer coloring page for your kids. Your children will enjoy coloring this sheet as well as you telling them a little bit about the animal.

Here’s a quick excerpt
An Alligator is a very large reptile.  The alligator and the crocodile appear to be very similar, however, there are ways to tell the difference.
First, the Alligator’s snout is shorter than the crocodile’s snout.
Second, the Alligator’s snout is more rounded than the crocodile’s snout.
Thirdly, the Alligator’s 4th tooth on the bottom fits perfectly in between the teeth on the top row; however, the crocodile’s 4th tooth on the bottom sticks out on the side.  You will notice that the crocodile’s 4th tooth sticks out from their mouth even when their mouth is closed.
Print off this Alligator coloring page for your child.  And, explain a little bit about the Alligator while your son or daughter is coloring this printable.
